Special Thank You

A very special thank you to all the parents, children, teachers and SNAs who supported the school in the work to with the flower beds at the front of the school. It was great to see the sense of community and people giving up their time to the school. We had a lovely morning transforming the front of the school into a colourful and living environment. I would to thank Trish Murphy for her expertise in horticulture. Trish is a fountain of knowledge and she led the project from the start. The school staff look forward to the spring and watching the children interact with the new flower beds. Its safe to say – we are off to a great start!

Health and Safety

Due to health and safety, we are changing our drop off and collection procedure on yard every morning.

New Procedure:

  • Parents can bring their children to their line and wait with them until 9 a.m.
  • The bell will be rung by school principal or deputy principal at 9 a.m.
  • Parents are asked to leave the yard area via the main gate or Canonbrook gate at this time.
  • The teachers will wait with the children in the line until all parents have left the yard and at which point, the children will be brought to class by their teacher.

Thank you for support and co-operation.

Wet Mornings

Reminder of the wet morning procedure due to the winter setting in.

  • Junior Hall – Rooms 1-8 children may enter the building at the side door of the P.E hall as usual. Parents are asked not to enter the hall. All teachers will be in the classrooms waiting for the children.
  • Senior Hall – Rooms 18-23 children may enter the building at the side door of the P.E hall as usual. Parents are asked not to enter the hall. All teachers will be in the classrooms waiting for the children.
  • Modular classrooms and Prefabs – Rooms 9-16 in the yard may bring the children to the classroom door. We ask that parents enter the yard via the gates at Cannon Brook and the Car Park gate and not through the main school building.
