The 1998 Education Act has enhanced the involvement of parents in the education of their children. Parents are encouraged to become involved in a variety of school activities, e.g.
- Shared Reading / Maths Activities
- School Garden / Grounds
- School Tours
- Sports Day
- Field Trips (park/library/museums)
- Green Schools Programme
- School plays/drama/concerts
- Class Visits (History/Intercultural)
- Intercultural Week
Parental involvement is acknowledged by the school & Board of Management at our Annual Helpers Night.
